7 Mar 2024
From february 19 to 25 we were at the 79th Executive Council Meeting and the Geoscience for
Africa (or Geoscience in Africa) event in Nairobi, Kenya.
We presented a poster and disseminated our project with leaders in Geosciences from Uganda, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Botswana, Senegal, Mozambique, Namibia, Kenya, Angola, Ghana, and South Africa. We were honored to attend interesting talks about a wide range of topics, from the challenges of Geoscience research in Africa to the geothermal development in Kenya.
We are glad to be able to give voice to the Global South through our project and hope that many African geoscientists will join our team!
